Community Guidelines — 100 Million Beers

In plain words: photograph the beer. Not people, not anything else. One real beer at a time, freshly poured, honestly counted. Break the rules and your photo comes down; keep breaking them and you're out. You can appeal once — a human decides.

These Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service. They exist so the world's count stays honest and so no one's photo ever causes harm.

The rules of the ledger

1. Photograph the beer, not the people. The registry counts beers, not faces. Do not post photos with identifiable people in them unless every one of them has agreed to appear — and when in doubt, frame the glass, not the table. Your own face is also best left out: this is a count, not a feed.
2. Never anyone under drinking age. No person who appears under legal drinking age may appear in any photo, ever, in any context. This is the one rule with no appeal.
3. One real beer, freshly yours. Live photos of the beer in front of you. No photos of screens, old photos, other people's beers, stock images, or creative interpretations of the word "beer." The registry's AI has seen your laptop before and was not fooled.
4. Nothing but beers. No nudity, violence, hate symbols, illegal activity, advertising, or anything that isn't a beer being counted. The Service has exactly one content type and it is beer.
5. Count honestly. There is a daily cap and a minimum gap between beers — respect them. No automation, no scripts, no counting for other people, no schemes to inflate a country's number. Fraudulent counts are removed from the world's total; the count is real because fakes leave it.
6. Respect the Team room. Cheers, not harassment. Teams are small rooms of people who know each other — keep them warm.

Enforcement (how it actually works)

• Every photo has a Report button. Reported photos are hidden immediately, pending review. Reporting is anonymous.
• Every photo is AI-screened to confirm it's a beer; confident rejections are hidden automatically with a notification to you.
• Humans decide appeals. If your photo is hidden, you may appeal once ("THIS IS A BEER"); a human reviews and makes the final call. Only a final removal touches the count.
• Strikes escalate: repeated violations lead to provisional counting (your beers verify before counting), then suspension, then a permanent ban. Severe violations (rule 2, illegal content) skip the ladder.
• Serious illegal content will be reported to authorities where required.
